Trend Alert: Spring Fashion

One of the things I like to do while rummaging through fashion magazines or scanning my favorite sites on the internet is create "boards" of the images that I like that are currently trending.  "Collaging" these fashion trends gives me inspiration for posts, outfit ideas and how to wear new trends.  Take a look at what's hot this season...

MINT

As you might have noticed, the color mint is really showing its face this spring.  From nails to shoes to skinnies it's one of this spring's chicest colors to include in your closet.

CORAL

Like mint, EVERYONE is wearing coral this spring. Buy yourself a pair of skinnies or a fitted skirt to rock this color this spring.  I really like seeing coral bottoms paired with a navy striped shirt or blazer... tres chic!

Black has always been a staple color in my closest... however, this year prepare to contrast!  Black and white made a huge impact on the runway for Spring '13 with all fashion's biggest players (Michael Kors, The Row, Dolce and Gabbana, Marc Jacobs) sporting these contrasting colors.  Sport the trend using the checkerboard pattern, stripes or by combining solid pieces.

What else is spring blossoming up for us?

Lace, florals, frills, stripes, geometric patterns, leather, crop tops, and transparent pieces were all a huge hit on the runway this past fall.
